about

Inspired by N.Cornwall's coast. At Zennor in the far West there is a legend and a carving in the church depicting a Mermaid. The Aeolian sounds come from a recording of the end of Hurricane Bertha that hit the coast in 2014. Seal Song was inspired by a kayaking along the coast where curious seals play. They can sound like crying children when their calls echo in the coves. It is not surprising that there are many legends and folk takes about these charming Kelpie spirits.
