The ethereal sounds of the aeolian harp have fascinated humans since classical times, but few modern musicians have explored this majestic sound. Sarah Deere-Jones is a classically trained harpist & composer whose inspiration throughout her wide-ranging career has always been found in nature & the landscape. In this album 5 different harps are used to create a unifying musical tapestry, blended with the sounds of wind and waves, birdsong, and the aeolian harp, Sarah has drawn from her experience in classical, traditional, medieval & contemporary music, to create a personal and refreshingly new context to the sounds of the harp.
